I have it installed properly for sure, and it is the Earls billet aluminum thermostat. It has directionnal arrows pointing showing the flow of in and out. This is the first thing that I checked.
I think part of the problem is that the filters also act like coolers and they hold like 3 quarts...
I am running Mobile 1 synthetic, and when the car stops in traffic it heats back to 180 degrees. So it does get hot enough to burn any moisture due to cool temps, and other impurities. Strange that even with a thermostat it never stays at 180 degrees
My vented hood, CSF radiator, and bomex bumper dropped my oil temps 30 degrees, witha 13x6x2 oil cooler it dropped the temps 50 degrees while driving. While driving my oil temps now never go over 140 degrees and in traffic while stopped rarely moves above 185-190 where as before the mods while...
You guys make me wanna step up to the plate big time. Just give me 2 months to journey to the promise land. I am looking to break the mold and at least cross the 700RWHP barrier.

LOL....so many guys get suckered into nonsense from sellers. I had a guy alledgedly sell me a car with forged pistons and all and when i opened the engie due to malfunctions it was all stock. Buyer beware.......
I like the concept, and was wondering how you id the wires to keep belts from hitting them, and if a belt breaks is the whole mechanism protected from belts tearing it to pieces.
