It should work fine, from what I have gathered is that turbo and n/a tachs have different kinds of current for reading RPM so bye swapping over to a turbo tach should straighten any conflicts in reading rpm.
try putting a turbo tach in it should do the trick, same thing happend to me, I have a 91 n/a tach in my supra and its off about 4500 rpm so im swapping it out with a 92 turbo tach it should do the trick :).

I was thinking about enrolling into UTI but With me being a full time working specially living on the other side of the valley I'm not sure how that would work out :(. Maybe when I marry a rich girl I will be able to do so ;).
My girl friend will own my Black supra as soon as she starts paying me for it :-p hehe but I do let her take it from time to time... yeah yeah as Turbo-Joe puts it I'm crazy! lol
