I have it on my 1j. It's great been running with sequential COP for over 6 months. at first the car made only 295whp but since retuning it's much faster. The guy with the truck is actually the one who got me into it. There were a few problems setting it up but they've since been addressed...
Haha it's never done! It never will be since I'm always breaking things. I'm taking it down to the dyno this weekend. The same day I'm buying a 2 way LSD! No more crappy MK3 diff! I wonder what next week will bring?

How did you hook it up? You should just make it independant. Hook up a fused constant from the battery and switch the ground.
Do you have them sharing a power source or something?
You could also have a relay switch on with ACC so even if you leave them on they shut off with the car.

I've been playing with similar ideas lately. When drifting at the track heat soak is a real problem since you arent getting as much forward air flow. I was thinking a Nitrous setup filled with co2. I could have it on a full throttle switch.

I did a timing belt/water pump on a 2j the other day for $500 plus parts. This is pretty much in line with what a supra would cost.

I have a 4.30 in my drift car and it's great. Keeps the turbos spooled. It's easier to manage the powerband while drifting also because there arent these huge gaps in rpm when you shift.
Yeah its an ma70 carrier with lsd in it. I had to remake the mounting points for it ut it works great.
The cressida has a 3 bolt carrier with only one bolt near the pinion flange. I'm pretty sure it would've broken off.
I feel a lot better about it nowwith 4 mounting points.
