That's totally cool, Great job.

It's not required but it helps filter out noise on the ignition. Check to make sure the black wire is continuous to coil power (siwtched from ig2) and the white is continuous to e2 (sensor earth) or chassis. It especially should help if you have a tach adapter for analogue tach :)

I'm not familiar with the denso part #s so I can't say for sure if what you have are from a 2j. iirc the 2j uses ngk bkr6ep-11. The best IMO is the ngk bkr73 (6097). In my experience the iridiums don't do too well in boosted engines. I've got piles of the bkr6ep-11. I'll sell them to ya...

Could be ACC circuit. Check the key switch for voltage at position 1 (acc) with the key on. Could be the relay or the fusible link also. Good luck.

For what it's worth here's my first dyno from last year. Motor was stock everything, no boost controller, fmic, 3" dp and exhaust, and megasquirt. It was hitting about 13-14 psi. The temp in the shop was 90 degrees. These things really wake up just messing with the timing a little :)...

Thanks for the replies! MDC what kind of spool were you seeing with the straight Hy35? How about you 1jzneil? My car is used for drifting primarily so I like the quick spool and would love to retain it. I've been researching a lot an I think the hy35 with the 9 cm turbine will suit my needs...
