He was driving it on the interstate, and noticed the noise as he got off and slowed the car. At higher RPM, the wobble would probably smooth out, but would it be balanced is the question? I agree, he did do the right thing in having it towed from that point, but it still needs to be checked out.

I saw that ad, and thought somebody was gonna get a pretty good deal on a good head start. I'm not so sure that turbo is gonna be right for you, but I'm no expert on turbos. It looks like a lag monster to me though.

New is not a flaw! Ask questions...tell us what turbo you have (or get advise on the one you need for your goal)

Where is IJ with his grenade plug???? The very fact that you know the term supporting mods, should tell you that you need them with a bigger turbo

For my own benefit, and for completeness in this thread, can we have some discussion in here about the proper way to torque this bolt to 195 ft-lbs. Mine broke lose yesterday while trying to break the flywheel bolts lose. The thread scares me of future problems if I don't get it torqued back...

Thanks for the help guys. It seems the gasoline would be better because of it's ability to evaporate. It just concerns me a little because of the fume factor escaping into the cab. How much gasoline should I use? Is there any danger if I slosh it around in there too roughly? Just trying to...

I am planning on swapping my clutch this weekend. It hit me yesterday that I want to have the Flywheel resurfaced in the process. I quickly found out that having it done on the weekend was going to be difficult. I was hoping to be able to borrow one to get it done on Friday, but found out late...

It's a little hard to tell with the new wrappings you have on it. I would agree with most of what has been posted here. You honestly would be better served with a different harness. Knock sensor and water temp problems are the biggest demons in our harness, aside from starter issues.
