yep its that simple just plugging it in...what alot of people fail to notice is that the stinger doesnt tap into the power source of really anything so there really is no reason to worry about a back current.....
i also know people using the DM harness besides connecting the grounds pf the...
from what I learned while wiring my stinger up you do not need a diode bc the stinger is only sending out a ground signal.....there is not a current that should be coming back to need a diode unless u've wired something up wrong
Well ive decided to put together my own engine harness. I started mapping out my setup and materials that i plan to use but ive ran into a issue which ive been going back and forth about all day.
heres my problem:
i want to know why noone uses sold wire over stranded when it comes to the...
they are stock rods but not stock bolts
im sure it didnt damage the crank if u look at the second to last pic u can see the where the rod hit the block just below the cylinder and thats exactly where it got stuck. the crank stop rotating at that point and wouldn't go in either direction.
yeah this time i will be doing the work myself
no, the rod was pushed to the left under the cylinder so when the crank rotated it locked up and was un able to push the piston any higher
i got the block back from them in 07 since then ive put maybe 10,000 miles on it. just finished my second build went from a 20g to a t70 along with a number of other upgrades and the day i went to tune for boost this happen before i even got to -1.00 psi in vac
not really much to be said my pictures tell it all. i can thank the great folks at bunner performance for failing to torque my rod studs properly and leaving me with this mess to fix. there is a good side doesn’t look like there is any damage to the cylinder walls or the crank so should be a...
have you looked at the MSD DIS-4 it does everything you need a ignition to do and more....plus it allows you to keep the stock igniton setup if you want or go full standalone
i did solder my wires but orginally doe testing i used the plastic connectors, neither made any difference same problem. i believe it more or less has to do with the age of the wires or damage to them...but i am chasing down my problem now will let u know what i come up with exact
i have the same problem with my q45 i believe its the wiring that is causing the problem...i even got rid of the temperature controlled idle control screw and spring and still having the same problem you arel. the wiring is the only thing i havnt touched so that has to be it.
