how did u go with these?
i was also looking at using them for my new godfather front bar.
wasnt sure if these will provide enough support for downforce assistign panels.
is their a neater way then the self lockign type? cant picture 6 of those pop riveted to exterior of an original...
has been through a few peoples hands and although being fitted to a car, its still in gelcoat.
i paid $325 aus (about $240 usd) + a stock 89 bumper/nose cone/grills/indicators
well decided to spoil my drift hack/track car with a godfather front bar.
wanted somethign a bit more sturdy then the orginal rubbery one without any support braces so i can ultimately mount a splitter to it etc
should provide a nice big inlet to duct to the radiator and intercooler...
nice project u have got here. have been through the exact same thing :)
could i recommend a fuel cell - will save u 20ish kilos and eliminate fuel surge issues unless your going to run a surge tank
reviving this thread from the dead...
car used to have tein ha's which got replaced for about 6 months with cusco zeros. always wasnted a set of aragostas for the soarer so just ordered some today of yahoo auctions so have an anxious 8ish week wait for those to arrive
they look like...
personally not a fan of the kit. but i can buy this front bar cheaper then i could get a shine copy sent from america.
hoping it will look alot better on a widebody track car with decent rims, aftermarket skirts i already got and the shine rear pods
have been neglecting this thread :(
turns out after replaceing the syncros, the first hard shift after a nice cruisey bed in period resulted in a back to crunchy gearbox :( at that stage i realised i was going to be a fair way off racing this car and didnt have the funds to look at it...
bumping a really old thread here.....
anyone know if the kit is designed for a widebody or normal?
some1 is sellign a front bar locally which i might purchase for my track car
from my understanding the trim would be useful for if i upgrade to 720s from 550s, that way can use the trim.
dont think it would be ny usefully trying to trim a factory map cause u have bigger injectors when u got 100 other aftermarket mods like bigger turbo etc
excuxse the big pic - but this is what the maps look like on correct 8860 software.
BTW this isnt the tune as it sits - have tweaked it since and smooothed out fuel map quiet substantially. dont think ive got a saved copy on my laptop and car is motorless atm (no it didnt pop from my tune) so...
normally EM8 extension - i dont actually have a stinger - have a 8860
fuel map looks different at idle/low vac/low rpm but pretty damn close
op1 = fuel pmp
op2 = tacho
op3 = thermos :)
