The slave should push the fork all the way to it's mouth or the slave will go hungry...... I'm sorry I couldn't help that one. I know it was off topic but......someone had to.
Poodles, you should sticky this one that way people can read this very clear thread and know that it just can't be done unless you are rich as all hell or have a 25 year old car. Then there will be no more questions about it.
Edit to mine..... I'm not going the upgraded CT26 anymore. Just got my hands on a sweet deal with a T-70 .68 That with my LEX, 550s, and pump should easily get me over 400 now. after that it is time to get a good management system me thinks now. lol
I would just stick with your original plans and put the GE motor in there for the summer and then over the winter you can build your motor the way you want it. Winter time is the best because the car never comes out of the garage ( at least mine doesn't ) and you can build on her.
Sorry about that I forgot that I didn't put THIS LINK (<---click) in the post. Please let me know if you have a clue on this one. For some reason when I relabel the link as words, the color doesn't change and get underlined like on other sites.
I just wanted to come on here and set everything straight as far as the whole importing a Japan car goes. I am in the process of the paperwork as we speak. I have a 1988 Toyota Supra GT Limited from Japan. I am stationed in Germany right now and will return to the US hopefully in a few months...
call me an idiot.....but what the hell is a proportioning valve? I don't work too much in the brakes department. I was thinking about doing the same thing with my GT Limited as well. I won't be using it as a daily once I get it home to the US. Plus it will never see rain or snow again so I don't...
Strange thing is, and I just realized this one.... It all started once I installed my Voltage gauge. I put it where the cig lighter was. I used the wiring from that. Maybe I crossed a wire or something and it now has a short somewhere....Time to start reading out some wires I guess.
IMHO who the hell cares what other people think about the wheels going on your car. They aren't driving it. Not trying to be rude or anything like that, but why in the world do people ask for opinions on what they should do to their cars when it is their cars to begin with. If I worried about...
Yeah I have to admit that TEMS in my car makes ZERO difference. Whether on good roads or bad, fast or slow, hard cornering or not....My tems work, and I know they do, there is just no noticable difference. Plus I figure when I scrap the weight,I might take a couple of pounds off the car. I can...
I don't mean to hijack someones thread here but I was kind of wondering a similar question. I have LEX/550s and a Mongoose 2.75" exhaust, and am going to be going with a 57 trim ct26. I have a 255 pump that is going to be going in here in a week or so.....before the pump, I dyno at 255 at the...
This might help, or it might waste a minute or two of your time but I had that problem when I was removing parts to paint them on my GT Limited. I had my friend come over and poke his head around there and see if he could figure it out and he found it immediately. It was the throttle cable...
Well, I found out yesterday while driving home from work, that I have no turn signals. I have four ways, but no turn signals. I have done the obvious and checked all the fuses at least twice....I had to check it a second time because I was pissed and drinking the first time. :3d_frown: Any ideas?
