Well I stand corrected then. Thanks IJ for correcting me. I was under the impression that he would only get the pressure of what the smallest pump would put out. But that is why I said for someone to correct me so. At least now I know.
Well, if you put the 255 after the stock pump then you are only going to get the stock pumps pressure. I would just put the 255 in there and take the stock one out. The way you are talking about setting it up is going from a small opening to a large opening. Think of it like pipe work. You will...
get an alternator relocation bracket. They go for around 75 bucks for a used one. It just drops it down from the stock location to a lower one. You might need to relocate your battery to the trunk also if you are going to run a FFIM ( front facing intake manifold ) I will eventually do this...
Since I am with the dark side and it doesnt matter if mine is painted or not, since everything is black anyway, I would vote for painted. Anyone got any pics of a shaved one? I was debating that way a few months ago.... might still do it.
its not turbo or non turbo. The link I posted shows it clearly what the difference is. Not trying to sound rude and all but the proof is on that webpage.
lol please don't remind me. That's ok because if I see that I do a good job on it and it works then I can try and make some for others that want one that own a prefacelift. I still have to take the glove box out and verify which ECU is in there though. Never know with the JDM spec cars.
Soldering is something I do very well. Which is why I don't mind making my own extension. Or at least making an attempt to make one. If I fail then I chalk that one up in the loss column. If it work great then I will know what I am doing for the next one and make that next one even better.
http://www.supracarparts.com/history.html about half way down the page it tells about the MK3 Supra and the differences

Ok I actually found the difference. 71 is US spec and 70, is Canada, Europe, Japan. 2/3...
so what is the color difference in the ecu plugs? I have seen yellow and grey so far. My friend has a grey one but i have looked on ebay and for the exact same thing as what he has but in yellow plug. is there a difference in them?
They don't have anything listed for a 7MGTE and there is no way in hell I will pay that kind of a price for an extension. almost $200! for a few connectors and some wire....These people are crazy. I have someone on here that is willing to ship me a couple of connector ends and if I can solder...
I have an 88 with a manual in it. if it will work for it let me know what you want for them. is it both connectors? if so then I should be able to make one work with no problems. All I would need is the female connector end from the ecu. I can find a bad ecu for dirt cheap on ebay or something...
I am going to post this in here since the Electrical Thread area is still locked.
Does anyone know where to get either the ECU harness extension, or the connectors for it so I can make one myself? It really wouldn't be that hard to make an extension since all it is, is matching pin for pin...
Welcome to SM. Lots of knowledge on this site. I would recommend Clevite 77 bearings, and ARP bolts. Also if you can find a place that is really good, I would have it line bored.
That would be very expensive to just put it under the car to have rocks hit it and scrape it on speed bumps and whatnot. I would rather have a few pounds extra and know that I didn't just waste the cash on something that nobody will ever see and will be messed up for sure.....
