does anyone have any experiece with this oil pump? Just wondering if it indeed flows more volume then an oem? Going through a rebuild right now and am looking to replace mine. Thanks http://www.importperformanceparts.net/
Hey guys. looking for comments on what my machinist told be about the arp rod and main cap bolts. He said since these fasteners torque down differently, that the main will have to be line honed. He suggested using the stock main bolts to avoid this process. He is by no means against using...
amazing. Im searching for answers to the same question. Any help from you pros would be greatly appreciated. I saw where defiant bored to 86 mm but I also think he had his block coated for heat. What is the max safe bore to get out of this block?
ok I have a question about this as well. I am going through a rebuild as well and pulled my motor out of an 89 turbo. This was suppose to me a low mileage jdm motor that blew a headgasket. But when I get the oil pan off, there are no oil squirters. My question is this. Boostad stated that...

As IJ and grim both stated, there is a 3/16 to 1/4 inch of polished surface visible and thanks for the info guys. I figured that out after I pulled it back out not satisifed on how it looked installed and took some measurements. I also trashed a brand new seal in the process removing it as...
IJ any tips on how to get the crankshaft timing pulley in all the way? Or is it suppose to sit flush against the timing case cover? Mine has like a 3/16 to 1/4 inch gap in between the cover and back of the pulley.
Hey guys. need some help with this threads topic. So chose not to open a new one. My seal is replaced and im in the process of trying to reinstall the crank timing belt pulley. Question is this. Isnt this pulley suppose to sit flush against the block? I have got it as far back as it seems...
good info shaeff. thanks. I have also heard, like I believe lagged stated, that you can also use the adaptor from an NA to raise your pressure. Is it feasible to do both of these upgrades?
