Man all the grounds are brown. If it's e2 thats supplied ground to sensors dont mess with it. If it's e1 (diag) it doesnt have to be grounded. All others do.
I make 400whp on stock ecu.
And injectors.
And safc. But yeah stock ecu is pretty good.

yeah me too. It wouldnt be for making power or anything. Just to learn more on direct inj. I've worked ont he mazda ones but I'm sure toyota is a little diff. Being a mechanic makes you nerd for this kind of stuff :)

Anyone know where to find good info on one? Factory service manual? I kinda wanna get one and play with it but I need more info on the technical aspects of how it runs. It'd be cool to use a standalone or something. If keeping it running at 40:1 afr is too tricky for me then stock ecu.

The edges look a little screwed up. Did you use a 22mm or a 7/8? I've only had this problem one other time and it took a lot of work. My 1/2" snap on gun didn't even do it! I had to destroy the bolt!
