Makes sense; but 20 pounds is 20 pounds and most people don't usually buy them purely for weight savings anyway. I wounder if one was to email them would they cough up the weight of the parts?
Hm if the hatch weighs 30 then that would mean the glass would weigh around 25. So you could still stand to lose a fair amount of weight depending on what that CF hatch weighs, you'd think they'd post the weight of it on their site.
I have my hatch off the car now, but its stripped down of everything but the glass. ie. spoiler, rear wiper, interior/exterior trim are off. If there isn't a figure out there for it I suppose I could find a way to jerry rig a scale to weigh it. I'm not going to be taking the glass out to weigh...
Lowest springs that I know of besides going coilover would be the H&R springs. Also the bilstein shocks have height adaptability but I'm not sure to what extent in either direction.
I'd recommend separating the 12's into separate compartments if you're going to run ported, its likely that the two subs are clashing with each other over the single port which is why it would cause the bass to jumble together like that. That's what I figure could be partially the problem anyway.
IIRC there was a company that made a limited amount of ball bearing cartridges for the ct26, not 100% sure though I just remember reading about it awhile back. As for it being a stock jdm part I'd have to call bs on that.
Its not gonna happen for 150 considering the proper materials themselves cost that much as a bare minimum, you'd be looking at likely 300-500 depending on if its base clear or single stage, and if you're going to get them to wet sand it or not.
