Ok. Got a lot done today. Here's the soup sitting on the new coilovers. As much as I like it this low, it's just too low. She'll be coming up about an inch or so...
Not the best pics I know; but, this was the best I could do since she isn't back together yet...
BC's specs on their 272's are 8.68 mm of lift. They feel that upgraded springs and retainers are necessary.
Isn't that to keep the shims where they're supposed to be? Is it really necessary or is that a marketing ploy? :sarcasm:
Does anyone know what the limit of the stock valve springs are before the shims get tossed?
I've heard that 264's are the limit; but, since there are different duration/lift combinations, I don't think that's a good "rule of thumb" to go by.

Sorry for the delay. I somehow missed this thread resurrection! ;)
Just as hvyman stated, I too have had ZERO problems. I ran that turbo for about a year at 12 psi.
I have since moved on to bigger things; but, it is now sitting on my shelf wrapped in plastic to be a backup turbo when my JT62...
Me too!! :D
Here's his ebay store with some "Pre-Packaged" deals. **Warning** This will really make you feel bad about your current kit. :(

No, getting them off wasn't bad at all. A couple of the bolts just spun; but, a set of vice-grips...
