Like he said it will never line up when you insert the cps. It will always move one tooth all you gotta do is while the cps is inside like in the picture turnit back one tooth.let me look for the link to Shaeff thread be right back

You dont need it balanced since its just a stock rebuild. Once you do a forged bottom end and will be reving it to the sky yes its a must. What are your plans with the car? Whats your mods?
Just think about the $600 dollar labor charge at a shop to remove/install the engine. Just go buy/rent one, the experience from doing the work yourself is PRICELESS. You will learn alot about the car, good luck and let us know what route you talkng :beer:
This is why i recommended the resurfacing or repadding . What are you planning to do? Install new clutch or the same clutch that came with the flywheel?
Harbor Freight has them for $150 dollars . Go buy one use it to take out the engine then return it with in 30 days. Tell them that its DEFECTIVE hint hint and get your 150 back. Dont loose the ticket. Good luck
Never heard of Aasco but if it was me i would do the clutchmasters flywheel. What ever you do make sure you resurface before installing your flywhee. Good luck
I have used the EBAY gasket sets for several builds and they work pretty good man. You cant beat the $50 dollar price tag on them. Have the shop shave the head to a low RA (around $50). Have them install the VIton valve stems provided in the Ebay kit(around $30 to replace em ). The MHG and ARPS...

Yeah , Clevites are now re-boxed ndc's. I would suggest you go with KING BEARINGS $80 shipped ebay or a set of FEDERAL MOGUL form Oriellys. I have personally used from ACL,King to Federal mogul bearings and they all held their ground. Good luck and let us know what you dicide on .

With your mods 400 rwhp is pretty avhieveable at 18 psi. I did 433rwhp with act26- 60 trim ,not a 60-1, at 18 psi. There is a guy in 7mpower website that did 430rwhp with a ct26-57 trim.
