Im not jumping on the bandwagon JUST because of the issue im hearing with illumination during the day. I dont think I would be happy with that at all. Especially with the top out. Other than that I would be all over these. I dont want to spend what im going to have to on other gauges
No im not kidding! I was kinda suprised at first to. But when you think about it, it is a toyota part and it is high pressure. That why I would have to go through complete hell trying to remove something before I cut it. Try finding a hydraulic shop and get both hose ends replaced since you...
I can chime into the reduce cost thing. I know this cause I work for toyota. Cost reduction is a daily expectation. If you can think of an idea to reduce cost, the Co. will pay you for your idea.
well I repaired the threads this weekend after a little trouble. I have a couple others issues to get through now though. The studs appear straight but are not perfect, so I will have to increase the hole size a little on the head. The studs rub on the hole a bit when putting them in. I...
well I priced that line from Champion Toyota. It was like $225or $275. Either way is was totally rediculous! You can either get a braided line from Driftmotion for $100 or if you have a hydraulic shop near you, you can get the a new rubber line put on yours. Good luck
Damn that crane must be huge. You never got nowhere near the bumper at the initial pull. Mine crane was up against the bumper and could have stand to come in a little more
not good indeed. IJ recommends stacking 2-3 helicoils to it will be the length of the stud and wont load up the block. Im still concerned about the load and if it will hold. If he sais it will then it will. My main concern though is drilling holes straight. This is going to be critical as...
Major set back today guys. I was rechecking the torques on head bolts as I got a deeper socket that I felt more comfortable with using. One of the back bolt holes in the block stripped out!:3d_frown: Man Im so pissed. I dont recommend retapping these holes before installing the studs like I...
Ok pics added.
Well I got a little done today. I tied up some loose ends basically. Reattached some things I took loose in the engine bay when I cleaned it up. Cruise control & master fuse box. I attached my new Driftmotion clutch line and AFPR. Didnt completely install either but put them...
oh well. must look especially good for stock. I was thinking by first glance they were aftermarket. I hope my radiator looks as good as yours installed:evil2:
