    If you're going with a larger intake manifold, sounds like you're going to want to use this turbo to all the way. The 1.06 will free up all the power you can make from this turbo. You can use one from a toyota pickup truck, not sure which model just go check them out and compare.

    If you want to use that turbo fully, start with the 1.06, then go down if you don't like it. You did say GT40R. My setup right there.

    Flywheel bolts, FPIG or Loctite

    If there's leakage, replace the rear crank seal and pilot bearing. The bolts aren't really an issue, neither will using loctite or FIPG.

    If you have knock, you've got knock. I'm suprised you haven't started it up yet to check and report back. When it's running, have someone press on the clutch and you stand out side and watch the crank pulley to see if it moves forward/backward.
