if u can get the terminal off of the battery cable running to the starter check it for corrision on my donor car it was the prblem it woudlnt start there was a click right behind the starter relay and replaced the starter relay it wasnt it new abttery wasnt it so than ic hecked the cable ad...

Ok I tried all ur guys' ideas and unfortuntley they didn't work lol I have a flex plate bolted to the back side of the crank and I wedged a piece of wood under it and tried with the breaker bar but the crank is spinning away and the flex plate is eating through the 2 x 4 and I even tried a brick...

Won't the crank just spin tho since there's nothing on the back and would a breaker bar work?

ok i work at a local junk yard and we got a 7m motor in from a totaly wrecked 86.5 so we came upon a problem the guy took the tranks it was a auto and he took off the flex plate and converter and for some odd readon to take the ead off he dismanteled everything and to do this he cut the timing...
