thanks, simply put, like i said, i couldn't really ever find any good info, so i couldn't figure out if it was just a gimmick or actually an improvement
well, the reason i stated this thread is because i've heard this and that, such as
-slotted rotors wear on the brakes faster, and doesn't really serve a purpose, as moder pads don't create gas
- brakes w/ no holes or slots provide a greater surface area for the pad to make contact
stuff...
i got a good deal IMO 250$ for 4 brembo rotors and axxis ceramic pads
and another note to all that commented on the rotors. I'm still looking for facts here :-/... I just keep hearing "IMO", but i'm trying to form an oppinion from proven facts, rather than other oppinions. :dunno:
that japanese guy creeps me out... but uh, any particular reason you say neither? i'm just trying to find out for a fact if the drilled/slotted rotors are just a gimmick or what :dunno:
damn you for having a clean motor :D... i'm just messing, but i had to comment on that... my motor is absolutely COVERED in sludge.. next motor will, hopefully look similar to yours :)
and concidering i'm a noob, and havn't done a full engine re-build, thus, havn't done the research yet, but...
hm... alrighty then... always assumed it was 280 bhp for the jdm jza80 (i know they do have smaller injectors than the usdm, but that's about it... i believe it's 480 cc injectors), but i did know about the skylines... the bnr34 supposedly had about 320 ish bhp from the factory.. let me know if...
