i'm getting an fcon... and i'm gonna drop the 550cc chip in it... can i use the chip specified for the 89-92 or is that grey plug only
mine is 86-88 ecu + harness and i just wanna make sure that the 89-92 550cc chip will still work...
is this the plug ur talking about?
it might jog other ppl's memories also... i don't have a jz loom available right now but i think it is off the engine loom :)
o/d wasn't useful on the 1/4 until i was doing low 13's... and then i was only "just" getting on it... builds torque again and boots up some more giggle juice
but ya... if ur now low 13's no point in o/d yet :)

yep i bought one and think they're great for the money
no clearance problems so far, have yet to put it in the engine bay and but i'm sure i won't have a problem there :) just mocking up some braces to hold on to it as well... won't take much
heh tis all good, that is how i intended it at the beginning, wouldn't want you to catch on too quick ;)

they pull it apart and fix it up similar to monster garage ready to take on a challenge... their challenge was beach driving on sand dunes and in water on an orientation track

heheee.... well my roof took a holiday while it was on the tow truck... so i needed to cover up the roof somehow :-p
did look pretty out of it under the cover tho hehe... i thought it resembled an ol 240zx or similar, flat roof, long ass bonnet hehe
