Well the two wires off the battery I assume you mean the negative terminal, the small one goes to the fender the large one goes to the engine around the starter or the motor mount cant remember where exactly. For the knock sensor look up the knock sensor rewire its a special procedure using a...
Just curious if there are any stories of success doing this. The problem I have is that the rewire shows the resistance of the resistors for the na and the ohms of each resistor, but the resistors in mine do not match what is in the picture here http://www.4cefed.com/tech/natachchanges.jpg...
Yea I didn't think about needing a higher mcd for the application. They do have some better ones but they are more expensive ie $2 each, I have used them in a pinch, but there is only one store I know of that has a really good selection of leds.
Yea that was fun around over 25 gallons of gas round trip, damn told you my truck drinks gas. So that was an expensive door panel for me lol. I am never taking the truck that far again for parts unless there is a bunch of stuff I need.
Just pull the drive shaft out and test it. Two bolts on the center support bearing and four for on the diff, takes me 5 mins to pull mine. Then you can put it in a vice and properly test it. also you can then test the diff too for play/noise.
He said he bench tested the starter out of the car and the arbor came out but the motor did not spin that is why I am thinking a bad starter. As I said starters are the most unreliable part we get. Followed by alternators then ac compressors, well I would say these two tie. Btw I have to say...
Well progress is rolling again on my car. So its looking more likely that I will be able to bring mine, will probably be primered though, no time for paint and compressor probably won't stand up to the task.
Well I was gonna say you are in the wrong region but it looks like VA is a bastard child of supra mania because I cant find it anywhere, but I think VA is part of the North East region.
Could be a bad starter I get them all of the time at work. I literally got 4 bad ones before I finally got a good one on a customers truck can't remember what kind of truck it was. As far as Nick saying its the motor I think he means the flywheel pushing against the arbor bending it, but if...
You should be able to just go to radio shack to get the proper leds. Usually the people that work there don't know there asses from a hole in the ground when it comes to electronic components but they usually have a box with drawers full of led and solid state electronic parts, should be able...
Well with your location there is probably a larger market for getting the cars so it will probably be cheep. You could probably get $1000 at the very very most but I doubt it. The other problem is you have the engine apart which also dramatically lowers sale value because people are either...
Bottom line is head gaskets blowing is one of the main problems you will have with a 7m. That being said if you put a jdm motor in the car, one you will probably end up with a blown head gasket soon again, two the engines usually sit for a long time so god only know what condition its in. So...
Cf is a really strange beast, most of the durability and strength comes from how its done. You can get cheep cf which is really nothing more then resin with a few layers of cf and its not going to be strong at all, then you can get full cf either vacuum infused or auto calved or both and it...
Thank you Nick M after seeing the diagram you posted showing the intergrated circuit and the transistors it seemed to be that the only way power to get to the trigger was through the integration relay through the ic. Now the problem is fixed by putting the ir from my car into my wifes, but the...
Its an 88 actually, and no never worked at toyota just honda. Anyways the short to power I am talking about is the trigger for the head light relay, it should go to ground when the switch is on and that will supply ground for the magnet in the relay and the other side is power making the relay...
