By what standards? Of course a MHG is better, doesn't mean a stock one is bad. The head gasket was fine, it's just they didn't torque it high enough from the factory. When torqued properly, the 7M is one hell of an engine.

How many mm is that? Washers come in all different thicknesses.

I have a feeling we should be ok. It's not that much stuff. The DDP and test pipe will help let the engine breathe better and should reduce the risk of a BHG. I have a feeling 11-12 psi should be ok.

I have a cheap aftermarket mechanical boost gauge but not hooked up. I also have a cheap aftermarket narrowband Air/Fuel ratio gauge, also not hooked up. No aftermarket water temp. I want to get all AEM gauges down the road, along the the Tru-Boost controller.

Well, I also have a POS aftermarket ebay boost gauge that isn't hooked up. I'm not going to shim it any more that 3mm. So I'm wondering if I should shim it 1mm, 2mm, or 3mm?

Well, right now I'm pushing around 6-7 psi on the factory boost gauge.

So I have everything apart cause I'm changing plugs/wires and valve cover gaskets and thought might aswell shim the wastegate. I have various sized washers and was wondering how many mm to shim it. I don't want any more than 8 psi.
