I'm having trouble getting the clutch bled. I'm using a vacuum pump bleeder on the slave cyl, but I'm not having any luck. The clutch pedal isn't returning all the way after depressing it, so I'm stuck. Any help would be great, this is my first pull type clutch, so I'm a little lost with it.
I'm sure a 57 trim with a small rear end, like a .58, would fit the bill nicely. I'm putting a 60-1 w/ a .58 rear housing because I want a spool monster too....
^^^QFT^^^ It such a nice kit even I could install it.... :biglaugh: Seriously, I recommend DriftMotions AFPR kit to every 1JZ owner, it fits perfectly.
I thought that I read somewhere that there is problems with the 1J tach reading the signal. Maybe I'm thinking of an NA tach. Anyway, from what I recall, someone picked up the tach signal from another wire?!?!?
the tach appears to be wired correctly in the jumper harness, but I still don't get a signal. I've searched with no luck, but I thought that I read there was another source to pick up a signal for the tach. Am I right?
The swap should be done tomorrow, I haven't had any time to work on the car during the last two weeks. I'm doing a bit more stuff once the basic swap is done & the car is running good....
