I just got my Blitz ECU back from Aaron @ driftmotion. I could not see any blown caps with my eyes, but he found a few and replaced them all anyway.
If you believe it is made for larger injectors........ I need to see what mine is. I was told 550's, but it's for an Auto...... who knows.

I'll never recommend a rod that will only last one dyno pull for 1,000 rwhp. A lot of 2J block users are on Eagles.
I will use Eagles if I had them. Carillos like was in my last built engine are the best.
Pretty much any aftermarket H-beam is...
Thanks It's going to be going a lot faster.
The motor is going to be brand new.
Can't wait to install the new oil pump. Looking forward to see what they make.
Now all that 240 needs is cams, and it'll be time for drag radials.
There was a thread on supraforums about the V1's failing. Some guys lost motors (some on board fuel control failure). Other guys have had a V1 since the beginning, and no issues.
I'd rather not take a chance.

A stock oil pump will not work "just fine" in my application. This is why I bought an upgraded pump. Thanks for your consideration, though. My GE block would see higher pressures than the GTE block gets, due to no oil squirts under the pistons.
If I were a stock 2JZ block again, I would...
In some cases, yes. Fluidyne custom Nascar cooler w/ -10 lines/thermostat built into housing adapter. Going to try and fit this inside the bumper support when I install the SP oil pump.
Stock retainers should hold up just fine. If you add 1mm OS valves, you should get a P&P to take full advantage of them. Ferrea is lighter and stronger. I'd go ahead and replace the guides to Ferrea hardware while you're in there (personal opinion). Since the head is where all of the power...
Definitely worth it (JZ motors). Shop around and keep an eye out for good deals or group buys.
A good reason to re-shim and tune the head up during installation, too ;)
I would use Eagles. 1100rwhp+ proven on the street. Ridiculous. If you have the cash, Carillo H-beams = make what you optimally can out of the fully built head.
As for pistons, save your cash. CP's are CP's.
A standalone will solve all of your problems.
I would not get a AEM V1. I don't care who runs one successfully. You have put too much work into your motor to risk an AEM V1 failure.
I think the harness diagrams are covered in the TSRMs or online. Is that the old 7M harness, or new JZ?
Looks like the alternator + or a ground, not sure about the other.
I picked up new plate guide pins from my machine shop. He had a few laying around and just gave them to me.
My car has always idled at -6-8 in. vacuum with my large core 272's. I actually lost about 1-2PSI when I swapped out to a 1J block. If it's a hot idle (1500rpm), I might see -13.
Your vacuum sounds normal with 264, 9.3mm lift cams. If you get a leak, you should see a run away idle.
My...
Just personally, I'd take the 2J-GE bottom to 8K max when racing if you have a 74mm+ turbo. You're going to start making power on top, and when you shift you need to get back into it. It's a bitch to keep spooling unless you are flat shifting. Maybe two BOV's is too much.. Anyway, I would...
