you may notice in the shade, but you will never see it in the sun. plastic parts always look darker in the shade with metalic colors. it has to do with the way the flake settles with the static on plastic.

i wouldnt give more than 300$ for that hunk. there are lots of running examples of that thing in nashville and the surrounding areas for less than a grand. looks like it has had a very hard life.

i have a bare one that is damaged, but very fixable. no seals,liner just a bare top. you can have it if you pay shipping. it was sat on by a child and the paint is crappy. it would be a cheap option for a replacement to keep your car dry. it could be bodyworked and painted and look new.
