No, I didn't clear coat it. I asked them about a clear coat at the paint shop and they said this is the top coat and is not meant to be clear coated. The paint I used is made for painting bumpers and other parts that are on the outside of cars and will take abuse so it should last.

I did. I took the wipers themselves off and replaced them with new Toyota ones. I meant on the rear wiper there is a piece of rubber that goes over the arm where it bends. Its kinda like a rubber sleeve that goes over that part. That's the rubber part that I masked off.

Thanks everyone. That's why I had to do this, no one else probably ever noticed it but it bugged me so I had to fix it. It is the small things that make a difference, and they begin to add up.

Yeah, I just had the original key copied onto another Toyota key. If I ever really wanted to I can always take the door apart and get it.

About two or three years ago I went to the Toyota dealer with my VIN to see if they could cut me an exact key for my car, but the guy there said they can't pull it up for anything pre 1990 (I think that's what he said, I can't remember exactly). He said the only way to get the exact key code...

Very true. Mine weren't rusted real bad or anything though.

I believe the hole with threads is the same size as one of the bolts for the caliper or so. I remember using one of the bolts I already had off the car to get the rotor off.

I can't see that they just stop producing any shocks compatible for our cars, but I guess if they stop making the Tokico Illumina's then we are out of options.

I got my power steering filter in the mail today, and now I am waiting to get the new hose clamps to install it and replace all the power steering return lines.
