yeah... i think he meant to say "wouldNT crank" cause he explained it to me as not cranking at all...which is why i said security system. if it DID crank i understood him wrong and obviously its something else.

actually easiest way to see if the cps is working or not... when its cranking see if the tach jumps up a bit... if it DOES...then the cps is working right ...if it doesnt then cps is your problem.

well unless my friend had his swapped by a previous owner which i doubt since it looked all original and was stock when he got it.... thats not true. or its one of those weird ones ;)

theres a r154 (turbo model) and a w58 (NA model) pick accordingly of course. no you can use the auto ecu you just need to jump the neutral start safety switch which is easy. and FYI you need a LOT more parts then what you say you have collected already to do the swap ;) good luck

the default is white background....and im sure 90% of users are on that default setting.

try jumping the fuel pump by connecting the +B and the FP terminals on the diag box and see if you get fuel... if the cps is working you wont have spark or fuel

so its not cranking over? or its cranking over but not starting? if its just not cranking over but you can jump the starter and it turns on.... check the stock alarm. if its cranking over and youre not getting fuel or spark check a) efi fuse, do you have a check engine light with the key...

actually... turbos have 3.91 and 3.73 the 3.91 was 87-early 89 and the 3.73 was late 89-92 ;)

youre only going to get so much traffic.... i mean even if its sitting right in front of someone... if they dont want a shirt or calendar they arent going to go there..... same with if they dont want auto tranny controllers like the latent solutions section that has been pretty much a waste of...

i would.... just because you thought STOCK rods would hold up to the punishment of 500+ hp when you should have put in forged stuff.... doesnt mean the 7m is a failure.... sucks to see it like that ...but just rebuild the 7m with PROPER internals for your power goals and enjoy it even more.
