P.S. I also called Toyota themselves and they even said it is imperative that you match your Supra with specific MAF that it needs. So the numbers have to be your for your Supra specific make, model and drive train. But giveing them the VIN is the correct way which I did.
Okay so i've been farting around with the problem of MAF's not working or I just buy them and then end up returning them due to people selling broken crap. When I took my car in the Toyota Specialist said the reason why my MAF blew out (which I bought because the old got water damage due to...
Ahh I see all points to the air flow meter than. Hmmm I wonder why it blew out. the assmunch said it was because the numbers were off, and that it died because it wasn't a perfect match or something.
Well now that I think about it it could be when i unplugged it and nothing happened that was probably all the AFM. But the boost leak....... shit I gotta take all that crap off. I think i will do it today.
So i have code 24 intake air temp sensor signal thats a very new one and its probably unplugged by that crap tech, anyone know where the this sensor is cuz i don't. I got code 34 which is turbocharger boost pressure, which I am sure the AFM is dead. and code 51 which is pretty much the tps being...
got the fiing car back and guess what it runs worse than it did b4 I got a shit load of codes too and it won't even idle i will give you guys the codes in a bit. THIS SUCKS STUPID SPECIALIST FS UP MY CAR EVEN MORE PROBABLY SO I CAN BRING IT BACK WHAT AN ASSHOLE!!!!
I've checked all my plugs, wires, coil packs, igniter and cps and tps and changed out my fuel filter, and checked all my ic hoses. They all check out. I tested the electrical with ohm meter and it set every thing fine. it also died b4 I timed it so i know its not my timing.ANYONE IN SOCAL ABLE...
No I didn't break it I ran the afm for about 3 years no problem. the car just kinda started bogging one day and it does that at any rpm and it seems like it gets worse every time i start the car. Its like some one cuts the gas on it or something and no one around here can physically come and...
so we took it to a specialist for toyotas. Apparently the stupidest thing was broke on it. THe Air flow meter. I didn't bother checking it because i changed it. Apparently I bought it for an 89 turbo auto not a 5spd and so it blew out. So the specialist says. So any one in SO cal got one. I am...
NEW NEWS!!! Well the Supra now is really acting like crap it doesn't even wanna idle or roll in gear with no foot on the pedel it jerks and feels like it needs gas when I got half a tank. I am thinking fuel pump. I need a pal to help me set up a fuel pressure gauge on it so we shall see.
So i tried two things disconnecting the AFM and disconnecting the TPS. well the oddest thing happened when I discon. the AFM, absolutely nothing happened. I rememeber when the AFM was broken the car would run rich but nothing happened when I unplugged it. When I discon. the TPS the car started...
well haven't been able to try yet I got school so I am pretty booked the whole week plus this weekend I need to do a project. so probably the weekened after teh next. I dunno something in the Supra is not doing its job correctly. I will check though. You can count on it.
yeah its a steady blink. what does that mean, no codes right? Actually it happened before my CPS blew out. So I changed out the CPS and yes the timeing is correct because I've set it wrong a few times. One where it just never turned on another where you had to WOT for it stay running. Now I...
Well I am running no cats. Straight pipe all the way out. I put fuel injector cleaner for the hell of it and it made it worse. enough to kinda miss at idle. Its probably my rail and injectors that car crap. hmmm anyone got a stock fuel rail, injectors and fuel injector clips for sale LOL. I...
