You can't just come on here and say you have a black MK3 Supra with only 17k miles and not post any pictures! :)
Welcome and post some pictures up for us!
Wow, it looks beautiful. I know you said it has blemishes that don't show in the pictures, but it looks really good in the pictures. That's really cool if you are willing to help out the community with the ECU thing. How's the interior in it?
My blower motor doesn't work on low anymore so I pulled the resistor and found that the coil for the low speed was broken in the middle so I ordered a new resistor. It should be here today.
Yeah, when I removed my rear wiper for paint it was stuck on there really good. There was slight rust...
Like mentioned above those are LED. A few people with Supras have run them. They are great because they are totally plug and play, but they won't have the same light output as a quality set of projector retrofits. The downsides are they are pricey for not having the best light available and I...
My NA has power leather seats. It was like a $220 option if you only got the power seats on a cloth interior, and I believe the leather was a Leather/Power Seat Package so they always came together.
Wow, when you said soon I didn't know you meant that soon! Looks even better now with the windows tinted. Now you don't feel like you are driving around in an aquarium anymore either.
These are really neat pictures. I like the way both cars have the aero parts around the bottom of the front bumper and the sides. Car looks good as always Rodel!
I have to agree. I love old cars, there is just something special about them that you don't get with a new car that they guy...
Nice, I think tinted windows really set a car apart. I was hoping it was a stubby antenna, because with my new radio my stock antenna goes up anytime the stereo is one even if I am listening to a CD. I haven't decided yet what I plan to do about it.
Looks good!
If you replace the fuel pump as well make sure to get the gasket for the fuel pumper hanger as well. That would also be a good time to replace your fuel filter if you haven't done so already.
Mine has almost 90k miles on it and I know what you mean about racking up the miles. When I got it a little over three years ago it had only 70k and in the last three years I've put 20k on it. It's just so much fun to drive!
This black thing that goes over the corner of the battery. It has those plastic screw clip things in it, but they aren't in my picture for whatever reason. I don't even know why I have this picture on my photobucket but it shows what we are talking about.
Those are great numbers, and I'm sure it's worth it to sacrifice a little power for the longevity of the engine. What's next for the Supra? Just drive it and enjoy it for a while?
I drove an FRS and it was a fun car, but it is very small inside, and I don't know if they are old enough yet to get decent ones under 20k. Even the steering wheel is small to make a little more space inside. Also, they are becoming really common place around here and I like to have something a...
I'm glad you found another one. I'm glad Emilio's car went to a good owner as well. It's a really nice car, and it is in good hands once again. Looking forward to future updates!
