I was just thinking about this spoiler the other day, I remember when you posted the pics of it just mocked up on the car unpainted. It looks good! I like the simple look, it could be OEM if you didn't know any better. I'm in for more pictures during the daylight.
Awesome! Where did you get yours? Also, if you don't mind me asking how much did they run you?
Edit:
Have you found out if they are the 5way adjustable ones or are they just the basic three way ones like the OEM ones?
Today I aimed my projector headlights lower because they were aimed too high and shining in people's mirrors and oncoming traffic slightly even though I aimed them the way The Retrofit Source says to aim them: the top cutoff should be level with the bottom of a regular passenger car mirror...
I was thinking this too. You may just want to flush the entire system and clean the reservoir if that hasn't been done in a while and then bleed it afterwards.
Welcome!
I actually have a 3rd Gen 4Runner that I'm driving as well. They are great trucks. I've been scrolling through the builds of your 4Runners and I must say they are very cleanly done and well documented with lots of pictures which is great! I never knew that the 4Runners were available...
Ah, OK. I hadn't ever heard about that until now. I never knew that TOM's made a street car Supra. I knew they made the Supra race cars back in the day, but didn't know that this was a thing. I made a thread here awhile ago with a whole bunch of pics of MK3 Supra race cars, and there were...
I have an 87 and you won't find me switching to an 89+ bumper. I love the way it looks. If I were "building" a MK3 I would go with something like SuprA70 posted. That would open up your options for lips too since there are almost none for the pre 89. As for the taillights if I would switch I...
Wow, I didn't realize that the capsules made it so yellow. I thought they were a paler yellow. I also need to do the fog light rewire one of these days.
I was thinking about this thread the other day, I'm glad to see updates. I love the color of your car as well, and just how clean the entire car is. This is definitely one of my favorite MK3's ever.
Those hose clamps are pretty cool. Are they a one time use type of thing or can the be refitted...
Are those painted or yellow bulbs?
I would think you would do better. 110kph is almost 70 mph. In my N/A cruising at about 73 or so with the A/C on I had 24.7 mpg and the car runs somewhere around 3300 rpms due to the 4.30 gears. This was over a 500 mile round trip.
You could probably...
I've had my OE replacement hose now for over 3 years and there have been no issues. You will have to separate the rack from the frame to be able to get the old line out.
No problem. I picked up the new resistor today and all the coils are clean and not corroded. They are also nice and solid and not brittle like the old one. I should be able to get it put in tomorrow and I'll let you know if it fixes the problem. I'm almost certain it will.
Looks good. With a little paint on the bumpers it would be in perfect shape on the exterior it looks like. I assume the interior is in almost perfect condition?
I didn't realize you were in the UK either. What is that light below the MPH on the speedometer? Is it for foglights? US supras don't...
