 go for it.... There's lots of NA suckers out there to be had.
Actually the ones from the 88-92 civic works even better....
"Also the Apexi I intake is know to have the least amount of turbulence."
- Who tested it or is this another one of the I heard he heard internet forums...
Well, at least he got it for a great deal. Looks great... :bigthumb:
Last week somone was selling a "cold air intake" for the NA supras on ebay (looked exactly like his) and it sold for $200 +.
second knob from the left. Lean it out a little, see if poping goes away. As rich as the stock computer runs, I don't think you will be able to lean it enough to actually go lean (enough to destroy the motor) anyways...
Sure you have the right chip for your injectors? When I isntalled mine without any tunning done, it ran just like stock, no backfiring, no problems. If it is running that rich, you could just lean it out a bit, but then again, don't want to blow up.

NEVER use cheap crap unless it has been proven good by others..
Try not to be the tester.....
My brother is planning a 2jz into his 96 M3 next year. Here is some great info on it. I think this is the best way to go for the BMWs. They cost too much to modify the stock engine, $8k for a turbo kit, total rip off.

So everyone says that the valvetrain needs to be upgraded before reving to 7500rpm. Has anyone actually tried and see how high the stock valvetrain will run before it spits a shim or floats?
