    Not just another dyno thread

How to use your dyno graph to shift..... For instance, your peak hp is at 5500rpm. What you have to look at is, where the rpm will be when you shift to the next gear. You already know that past 5500rpm your dropping power. So when you shift to the next gear and the rpm falls to say, 4500rpm...

    NA Tuning

Don't waste your money on the Autometer light show. If you want real a/f readings, get a real wideband. $240 for the ZT-2 on eBay.

    Question for the tunners.

vpc will practically get rid of your boost cut, or high enough that you won't hit it. Also with VPC, you won't need an afm. Straight pipe to the turbo, so you can hear it spool.... :bigthumb:

Rebic LC & (SAFR or SAFC) = +/-

Always AFM > LC > scalar > ECU.... LC is not tunable, so you want the scaler to be the last in the line, since it will make all the tunning changes.

active tach/speedo idea...help me with this

It would work on cars just fine without any reporgramming. What the shift indicator does it it just takes a ratio of rpm vs speed. One wire to the tach signal (0-1billion rpms) and another to a speed signal (voltage pulse signal). It saves the ratio between the two, so no matter what rpm or...

active tach/speedo idea...help me with this

You guys are making it toooo complicated.... Buy this: http://www.gear-indicator.com/ No need to program and build your own eprom. Just biuld your led sections on the tach and mph to light up with the corrsponding gear output.... Easy as 1-2-3 and 4 :bigthumb:

For $46k, I would rather get an Elise. A/C when you need it, doors, don't have to wear a helmet, heater during the winter, and a cover for when it rains. Might not be quite as fast as the t-rex, but fast enough...

The 90 plug is the same except for two plugs. The big plug is the same but they take two of the smaller plugs and combine them into one. I have a 90 na dash plug too. I'll take a picture for you tomorrow so you can see the difference in the plugs.

    Ebay Item advice

I bought some drilled and slotted rotors off ebay for my ls400. They were $169 shipped for all 4. Works like a charm. Been using them for about 2 years now and no cracks or problems. Any rotor will work, every rotor will crack. You just have to determine how much work you will be putting...

So turns out they aint that fast....

Faster than a ferrari, but with none of the finess and sounds only a ferrari can produce.. I would trade my supra for a F360 engine with tubi exhaust ANYDAY, so that I could listen to the engine reving every morning...... :biglaugh:
