    Lo-Tek Gauge pod pillars gone?

Their 2 gauge pod is what I have, fitment was poor on it, although I haven't seen the 3 gauge ones so I wouldn't know if they fit better or worse. In any case, both of them fit pretty poorly, but can be made passable if you are willing to spend hours trimming and fitting one to get it just...

    Lo-Tek Gauge pod pillars gone?

I do agree, I was not happy with teh original fitment of mine. It looks passable now, but it took me about 6 hours to get it to fit that good. Do you have a brand you would recommed or know somebody that makes ones that fit well? I would eventually like to do mine right, but that's near the...

    Lo-Tek Gauge pod pillars gone?

Wish I would have had that advice when I got mine, would have saved me a lot of time. What I ended up doing was shaving one edge down using a wizard. Many hours later it fit better, but still not perfect... -AM3

    Ghetto Leak plugs?

Exactly. If you start doing ghetto fixes, your car will end up like mine did when I bought it. I'm still fixing "Ghetto fixes" the previous owner did, and I bought the car over three years ago. Not to mention the safety aspect of driving your car hard and leaking power steering fluid. How do you...

Do a compression test. If it has low compression, do a wet compression test. If the compression numbers go up, its your rings. -AM3

Toyota Supra MK3 Buttons and TEMS?

TEMS is Toyota Electronically Modulated Suspension. It basically adjusts the dampening rate based on a variety of factors. Under normal cruise, it is at 1 (1 green light lit up). Under cornering, hard braking, or quick acceleration, it will switch to 2 or 3 (2 or ythree lights lit up). The more...

Re-torquing stock head bolts, how hard is it to do?

Yeah, driving even a short distance with a BHG will cause coolant to mix with the oil, which kills the bearings. Then you're looking at a full rebuild. -AM3

    EGR System question

That's definitely coolant. You most likely are looking at a head gasket replacement, possibly a full rebuild depending on how much its been driven like that. -AM3

    Aem Wide Band Reading

Thing to be careful of is fake Walbros. There were a lot of them coming out of China when I bought mine, so I got mine through Driftmotion so I know its authentic. I already had a Walbro 255 in the car when I bought it, but the previous owner couldn't verify that it was authentic, so it got...

Using manual boost controller and re-torquing head bolts.

the bolts are not TTY. Sometimes you can buy time with re-torquing the headbolts, sometimes you can't. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if retorquing causes some BHG's. I believe 8 PSI is stock for a manual, can't speak for an auto. On a stock (Not rebuilt) engine, I would keep it at 8-10 at...

    Will this fit???

It actually uses a high tech brand called Search Button™. Not using Search Button™ can lead to problems like blown head gasket and rod knock, as well as dangerous levels of looking like an idiot. -AM3

    Indiana supra owners

Nope, Maroon one with faded bumpers. I didn't get it down here until September, and I only drove it for a month on nice days, you'll definitely see it around next summer unless my plans for it change. Awesome, I should be able to make it out, not sure if the Supra will that early though. -AM3
