so i unplugged cyl 6 and made no change. egr? yep. took a vacume tester to the egr up to 25 pounds of vacume and no change. obviously is stuck open. turned the vacume tester to pressure and popped the egr closed. POP! car runs great. gonna leave it unhooked for now. any recomondations? :) i...

so tested the egr valve and it stuck open but not all the way. gonna take it off and go from there. ive read that it isnt good to remove the egr unless you have a japanese ecu. is this right?
wasnt kiddin. eliminated that i think. but when my car gets hot it studders at an idle but drives great. thinkin a vacume leak when it gets hot or egr valve problem? any ideas. i have totally rewired the cps and coil pack and 02 sensor
so int the end i ended up making lines for about 60 bucks and then using the adapters to the turbo and block. the return line was only like 6 an which is about 3/8s lol
and it took 1.5 hours to get the damn banjo fitting to line up cuz there are three different fittings that have to be aligned perfectly. it barely fits and bad at that. ive been a tech for ten years and that crap was gay lol
well i had to cut six inches off of it and will hace to get an an fitting to replace one side. i need my car runnin now though so this is what i did to bandaid it
so i decided to just buy a softline kit for the turbo cuz its cheaper. meanwhile i have a trd solara kit from my last car and got the inkling to see if i could make it fit this!!!!!!!!! lol. lookin good so far lots of heat gun and cuttin
i saw the same thing with the paint but she lookin a hell of alot better. wet sanding and hours of tedious prep work will do you wonders and dont forget about plenty of ventilation :)
