The only pipe I added to the intake was the one for my catch can and fed my valve cover vents to the can. I was going to add one for the ISC valve but decided to just put a mini K&N filter on it. I thought it would look less cluttered without all that extra hose and the K&N dresses it up a bit too.
Another idea for you.
I had Arron send me a 4 inch pipe and welded in my own fittings where I wanted them and had it ceramic coated (inside and out). The fittings were actually the metal inserts of my 7M accordian hose. The 6 inch round filter kit I bought for a 7M and just cut the square opeing...
yea, you have to do the neutral safety switch, and if you want the features of reverse lights, or have ABS you need to do the speed sensor. All the same stuff you do on a 7M but the ECU will work. All of the transmission functions like shift points are performed through the Auto trannies own...
OK, thanks. I'll try the burping thing too if the cap doesn't work. I had read of this before but the way it's written I took it as a way to remove air from your heater core if you were hearing the noise under the dash. I don't have that problem but if I get out of the car and walk to the front...
I have a 1JZ swap single setup with a problem that I think has an easy solution but I wanted to bounce it of some of you. I have a stock radiator w/hyro fan. My car is not overheating according to the dash gauge which is registering in the normal range. I don't have any coolant overflow bottle...
Just for reference. I have a 1JZ DM CT26 (60 Trim) setup on mine with 440's. According to my WB I'm dead on in closed loop mode at 14.7 to 15.1 and at WOT (18 psi) I hit fuel cut and buried my wide band at 10.5 or so. I trimmed it out a very slight bit like maybe 2% with my SAFC at all points...
Thanks a lot. After all that work it's nice to hear that it looks good. When your working on it so much you get staring at it for so long it's hard to judge on your own sometimes.
I realize everyone is really curious about the CT26 upgrade and how well it performs. Of course I looked everywhere...
This one is a 60 trim. I have a 60-1 on the shelf as a backup but I would think this one might work a bit better. It did on my 7M. I just had this one rebuit as I did my swap.
Oh and thanks
I just thought I’d share my latest project with anyone who might be interested. I bought my 1988 turbo/auto about 6 years ago and as many of you have or still are I went through a few iterations of the 7M by replacing head gaskets (1 Comp / 1 MHG), main bearings and other various things...
:1zhelp: I'm just finishing up a 1JZ swap and I'm trying to tidy things up a bit. Can someone show me a picture of where the stock location for the map sensor is? I can seem to spot the sucker in any of the pictures I have found.:aigo: Also is it hooked up to the vacuum line on the inside of...
Daeng, Nice car! In what part of Malaysia are you living? By your licence plate number I'm guessing KL or Ipoh? I have a Condo in KL and also spend a lot of time in Penang (actually live in Florida). I've never seen an MKIII in Malaysia before only a few MKIV's. I always thought the MKIII was...

Hope you're not talking about the Gallardo in his pic...
Can't tell from this pic. The one I saw was for sure badged as a Murcielago...
I've seen it too. I followed it (or lurked around it) for about 4 miles or so. It's a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster LP 640. The "LP 640" puts the thing at the top of the price range at $320,000 ish. 640 bhp @ 8000 rpm, does 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds stock. This one has a custom quad exhaust...
Red - Green comes from the Turbo Indicator (whatever that is, looks like and idiot light)
Violet comes from the Defogger relay
red - yellow comes from the headlight relay.
