Hello Ian,
Boy when you get on a rant, you don't let go...reminds me of the moray eel that wouldn't let go of my spear gun, even after I got out of the water.
Stock, chassis deflection backing out of my driveway while turning allowed both wheels to remain on the ground. Installing the front JIC...
Actually, I would've elaborated on Jeff's comments if I'd known a smart guy who can't read between the lines was going to reply. How about trying out splitting metal tubes spearing your cranium for size? A genius named theWeezL, indeed.
:offwall:
Back to the parts section.
Hello Nick,
Parts! We all need PARTS! Then I strayed into 'General' & lost focus, LOL.
Thnx for the kind words, but I've caught enough crap to make the visits fewer & farther in between.

Since no one else has the balls, I'll say it...no matter how well you do it, it will look like ass. Complete & utter ASS.
You want custom, more modern? Do it up in fiberglass & call it a day. I came to look for parts...saw this thread & couldn't resist. Call me negative, call me a naysayer...
In order to warranty, you must have an invoice from an authorized Tokico dealer. I'm not one to promote deception, but modern software offers a solution to that dilemma.
BTW: You will have to make use of the warranty, and that's a guarantee.
Good luck.
Thnx guys, I guess I shouldn't have cross-posted here...more responses on that other forum. Sorry if I inconvenienced you Adam, but your input was truly appreciated, here & there!
As I have replacement bushings in the works, I figured I'd better find out how to swap them in. Boy, the pickings were slim. How about all you stalwart wrench-warriors who've accomplished this task lend an old man a hand. I notice there are quite a few guys in on the bushing GB, so any replies...
Close your eyes & picture your car with the doors & targa removed. Essentially, as far as load-bearing structure goes, the floor is all that holds the front of the car to the rear. Now, envision all the places where you'll be able to add the foam. Do you honestly believe that the foam-trick will...
That work reveals a passion that makes it difficult to comprehend how you could sell your car. As others have already said, I get the feeling you may actually be back in the game at some point in the future ;)
Although the mis-information was garnered from a now-recognized uninformed source, you re-disseminated the mis-information as if it were your own. Next time, I recommend you include your source to preclude any unwanted embarrassment. If not, as you can see, reprisals are guaranteed.
Please provide the source of your information, because my real-world experience completely contradicts what you wrote.
My '87 flexed much less than my current [late] '89. In fact, with front/rear STBs & the Do-Luc Rear X-bar, the '87 had almost zero wobble, while the '89 with the same mods...
Well, considering the hatch is ~52" wide & your prospective spoiler is 50" wide, I'd say it would be like a pencil-dick fu<#ing an old whore's loose pussy.
What, is your measuring tape broken? The hatch is ~52" wide.
I didn't know rice was a staple of the Canadian diet. LOL. Heh, any place that dimensions is spelled diamentions is alright with me.
