jza70 i believe. the motor had an automatic tranny on it but im putting r154 on it. i was told i could still use my auto ecu with that tranny?

will a m/t 1jz ecu plug into a 1jz a/t harness and work? i have a 1jz with a automatic tarnny and harness and want to put a r154 tranny on to the 1jz but was wondering if u could just switch the ecu to the manual tranny one?
