-ARP head studs
-mhg....but only buy it once you find out how much machine shop decked your block and head, as you will need the proper thickness to maintain proper compression etc.

I am in the middle of changing over my NA to turbo. I am using a turbo harness and ecu. From my knowledge and experience so far, you do NOT have to change out the dash wiring harness...only the tach. Another thing that you are going to need is turbo ignitor. Your NA ignitor won't work...
Have you changed your fluid in your transmission lately? I had a friend who had this similar problem and I told him to change his fluid and/or filter on his tranny and it's working again properly.
But to change out your transmission. I vote for pulling engine and tranny together. Makes it...
No. I am using an aftermarket boost gauge. So this isn't a necessary sensor unless using the stock boost gauge in the cluster? Thanks the for the input guys. I appreciate it.
My car was originally NA but I'm converting it to turbo ,does it mount on the driver or passenger side? Does it replace any existing sensors? Thanks in advance for your help guys!
I am also considering this alternative. Tell me what you think jetjock. I was considering using my 87 engine harness and splicing in the connectors that are different from 87-88 and 89+. Is this a bad idea or it would it just be easier to just use the 89 harness and fix that one connector in...
Got another question pertaining to the harness/ecu. I got the 89+ ecu and harness on the engine and clipped into the ecu and dash harness. However, one plug does not fit from the 89+ harness into my existing 87 body harness. The body harness plug is the 5 pin rectangular plug. The 89 plug is...
I know the speedometer cable will not work from an auto to a manual, but my question is, is there a difference b/t the r154 and w58 cable? Thanks in advance guys.
I just finished up mating my w58 to my gte, but I used a w58 clutch kit. The pressure plate, flywheel, and release bearing are different for the r154 and w58. The clutch discs can both interchange b/c the shafts on both are both 21 spline. In order to correct your problem, you will need the...
I'm running a stage 3 clutch on my w58. I also have a backup w58 just in case of explosion, haha. And yes, I have the 89 harness that goes to my engine. I guess the only thing that I was concerned about was the grey plug harness plugging into my existing dash harness. Did you do this also...
Alright, I have an 87 NA Auto that I am converting to five speed and turbo. The engine is from an 89+ and i have the wire harness to go with it. My question is would be alright to use the grey plug ecu with my car? I think it will be ok, but I wanna ask before I do it. The engine and tranny...
Hello to all. I just wanted to introduce myself onto the forums. My car and mods are listed in my signature. I also have a 1989 Honda CR-X Si with a few mods also.
Well does anyone have an extra bellhousing for the W58 that will bolt up to the 7m lying around? If so, send me a pm. I am the guy that Zelfear is talking about helping. I just joined the site a couple days ago. Thanks guys.
