Just my 2cents worth, if it was me I'd be getting the car as ready as I could to start up then have it towed to your local dyno and have them run it in on the dyno for you. That way it's safe and you get your car tuned as well.
All the best

Mate thank you very much, thats just what I thought I just needed to check.
You say "besides connecting the grounds pf the stock harness together like DM suggest " could you please explain a bit more about it please.
While I'm at it do you know if I need to run a relay for the fuel pump...
Yeah I'll try doing that mate, I just thought seeing as how the 7m stinger plug and play harness is made by a Driftmotion and lots of guys here have used them the info would be easy to come by.
So what your saying is that I should just be able to plug it in and Ill have ignition? I'm sorry if I come across as being dumb but I just really make sure I get it right the first time. I dont want to let the magic smoke out of the box :)
Hey nosechunks do you know for sure if you have to do this with the plug and play harness that you can get from Driftmotion? I asked Aaron on twice and got a different answer both times?
Actually if any one has info on the plug and play harness could you please help an old guy out, either pm...
I guess I should thank you Andy I had a good look at your thread on the Bosch 040 pump your trying to fit. I found just about all the answers I was looking for :) so thanks for the pics and the info.
And yes its a big pump but should be good for 500hp and thats just what I'm looking for ;)
mate thats exactly what we did for mine.I'm using RX7 550's on mine and we found they were running lean at idle but were rich over 3500rpm's, the safc evened it out really well, just have to be careful because if you pull too much fuel the ecu pulls timing.
Anyway Pete the car looks great...
I’m looking to upgrade my fuel system before I start doing some fairly big mods to my car. The plan is to eventually have around 450hp at the wheels. I know a walbro would be enough for what I want but they seem to be a bit hit and miss and I don’t want to take any chances with my fuel supply...
I wish it was, this is from a local guy up here ProBoost
I didnt have a lot of cash for a turbo so I looked around and found this guy. He's been selling these to the rotary and VL guys up here for years and hasn't had any trouble with them. He also gives a one year warranty on them so I thought...
I really should edit that post maybe just a little too much info :icon_razz
But really it's not too bad (the turbo not my dick) should be good for 600. It's a t04z copy.
Yeah mate nothing but the best.
Man I feel so dumb for doing it. I broke a stud so I was dropping it off at the local machine shop to put a helicoil in after I drilled it out. I was lifting the manifold out of my van and dropped the dam thing! not happy!
