I think the best one was when he post about the ct26 he bought on ebay, warning us to not buy it! MOUHAHAHA
I dont have many post and i'm on the forum many time a day, but i could not pass on that one to let him know how he was so stupid trying to help us after we said him to not buy those ebay...
Nah, i get refund because of the too long delay. So i decide to browse the web and i find the varrstoen wheel. + I think the varrstoen fit better my car than the 962, more class...
+ they are 5 bolt hole, not universel, etc!!
5 1/2 in front and 6 1/2 in rear (in front of the rear wheel). This is from the ground to the lower part of the chassis (the lip)
The difference is due to my rear tire being taller
Finally, i received my wheel.
Model : Varrstoen 1.1.1
Rim size for all 4 : 18, 9.5 width ,+30 offset
Tire : front 235/40/18 Rear 255/40/18 Yokohama avid enVigor
In front, I will need to roll...or push where the 2 screw tighten the plastic inside guard and it should be ok, I hope.
In...
I end up with 235/40/18 and 255/40/18
If i'd go with the 235/40 and 255/45 like you said, id would have been a 6.4% difference between front and rear. It is a 2.5% difference with the set i choose (i dont want a muscle car look)
I choose the 235/40/18 in the front because i think it will be...
I bought the 9.5 +30
I think i will go with the 45 and 40 height set. Rolling the front look almost easy if there is a clearance problem and rear should fit (hella flush with the guards...)
Grandavi :your offset and rim width?
Those wheel are now mine... Now i'm not sure about the tire, i want to avoid roll if possible without heavy stretch on tire. Is it better to go with 235/45/18 front, 255/40/18 rear OR 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 Rear. The firsts one is -1.1% and -2.2% smaller than factory( almost the same...
What do you think about those wheel or brand. I was thinking about the xxr 521 18X10 +25 but i prefer the fitment of the following wheel (18X9.5 +30). + they are available right now and xxr 521 are back order.
What size of tire i may be able to fit without rolling the fender.
What about a...
Hi, like the title says... engine tend to ''bug" when throttle is release slowly. It is not easy to explain it in word.
Example : i'm riding in the city, I'm cruising, everything is ok. If i release slowly the throttle to decelerate very slowly without completely removing my feet from the...
Updates : I put around 2000km on my HSD coilover. I really love them, no bounce at all. I set them to make the wheel at the same height than the fender. I only try them at the softest fitment. I will try them harder just for fun, but i really enjoy how they ride at the softest. My car is a week...
i agree with him about the bouncy ride. I had a koni yellow + eibach setup before my hsd coilover and it was bouncy as hell but not hard as a rock...
I dont know if its the progressive spring or not... many owner seem to enjoy their ride with that type of spring, this is what is confusing me...
Ok. i realise that the problem is with my needle. Albert put led beyond my cluster needle. this is where the problem is coming from. It look like if the needle is spinning... or something going up too fast. Yesterday i was driving on the highway with a friend following me and he said i was like...
Do you think it would clear the stock fender lip with the wheel 16.35mm further inside? I did not measure the lip but it look like its around 6-7mm width. So if yours is simply roll and not pulled, it should fit without any problem...Am i correct with my math?
Someone fit a 245/40/18 on a 9.5 inch +35 wheel in the front without any roll? I want to know if i will need to go with a 235 or if i can fit a 245. 235 will be a little too stretch to my taste
