What kind of exhaust is this?

It was replaced a few years ago. It seems to "hang" a little low. Ant thoughts? Is it OEM/Stock? Thanks for your time, Suitcase Pictures: ---------- Post added at 07:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:22 PM ---------- OMG! I forgot the YouTube video...

Scratch on my Supra! ...And pictures of me repairing it using "Quixx". (Review).

Hello all, I've recently joined this very helpful community and met lots of friendly and knowledgeable people. I Love driving my Supra, but hate how I discovered a scratch on it! So I went researching online and found a quick fix: "Quixx" paint-scratch repair -- it's so classy that they sell...

    Carbon Fiber

I found a seller on eBay, selling Fiberglass-backed Targa-tops. I messaged him, asking him if he does full Carbon-fiber targa-tops for the Mark III. He said he would for around $400USD. So that was that. Here he is: http://myworld.ebay.ca/realcarbonfiber1/ Tell 'em StinkyBob22 sent'cha!

The hassle is I'm not very mechanically inclined, lol! Besides, I thought about it and it seems to be more trouble than it's worth for me. I'm happy with my stock hood. But I did decide to get that CF Targa-top! :)

Looks pretty nice with the CF hood, but it's too much of a hassle for me. I *just* ordered my CF Targa though - will get pictures when it arrives in the coming weeks.

@kamikazemkiii: I appreciate your offer, but I'm after the real thing. @te72 + projectsupra: The Targa top I'm looking at weighs 9lbs and is 100% double-layer Carbon-fibre.

You raise very good points. I've done some thinking about it, and there seems to be more negatives than positives to a CF hood. However, I am totally going to get a CF Targa. -- Cool looking, functional and practical! :3 Edit: Plus it saves me a pile of cash and a lot of hassle, too!

Okay, final question: How hard would it be to replace the hood with a CF one? I noticed my hood has heat protection on the underside, etc. Does it simply bolt off, or is there more to it? I'm mechanically-inclined when it comes to maintaining a vehicle, but not when it comes to switching out...

Do you think, in your opinion, that a CF hood would look goofy or riced-up?

Oh hell! That looks pretty slick, actually. That picture alone is going to make me purchase one, lol! What about the hood? Will that be going overboard?

    Carbon Fiber

Howdy folks, I have a stock, untouched (except for new fog lights) '89 Supra MKIII with Targa. One day, I was trying to get that pesky Targa off by myself, and was having lots of troubles. Not that it's heavy, it's just very awkward for me. So I had the idea that carbon fiber would not...

    Tacky or not: Seat covers

I'm not a fan of my burgundy interior on my 1989 Mark III... so I bought some decent-ish seat covers and installed them, but I'm not sure if it matches quite right or looks good. I like them... but what are your opinions? Here's what the original seat looked like...

Newcomer here, 1989 Supra Mark III

Hello everybody, Good to be here. Looks like quite the nice place! In my possession I have a 1989, unmolested Supra Mark III with the 7M-GTE I6 engine. This is my second car -- I upgraded from a 1988 Pontiac Tempest (Ick). My previous car was so slow, I had to add racing numbers on the...
