Does your speedometer read 15% high or so? I just got done with my 1JZ swap, from a MT to a MT, but the R154 has different gearing, so my speedometer is reading high. I thought they would be off the output shaft.

I just got a new TPS, Autozone did not have the toyota part, but they had a Duralast one with a 2 year warranty for $92. part number is TPS481 if anyone is interested. it works great now, I just have to replace my radiator now, the fan hit the shroud and threw a piece into the radiator.

I am having the same problem. My Apexi AVC shows the throttle position correctly though. I called Aaron at Driftomotion, he said the correct part number is 89452-22080. I have 89452-30150. Does anyone know if it can be rewired, or do I need to get a new TPS?

It is funny $4 in parts and it may solve those problems.

I opened up my ECU and found a few leaky capacitor! I just ordered them from Mouser, hopefully in a few days I will be able to take the 1JZ out for a spin.

OK, I checked the injectors, none leaked any fuel with the ignition on. Also, for giggles, I disconnected the O2 sensor to see if that would help, but it still was pumping way too much fuel into it. Would the capacitors in the ECU cause this? I can replace them a whole lot easier than...

Well, I have all the sensors finally, and the ECU is showing no error codes, but it won't start. It is getting fuel, I have not pulled a plug yet to see if they are just fouled up or what. That will have to wait until I get more time later in the week. I just want to drive it.
