Hard starts, runs rough and no power is something a bad egr could cause. Not sure if it could cause stalling but I have seen weirder things. It's worth a try. I could be completely wrong but what do you have to lose??

Check your egr valve

VSV= vacuum switching valve. There are a couple of them. But we only need to look at the fp vsv. I would do what grimjack said. I had a similar problem. Crank no start when hot. Checked the fp vsv and it was missing. Replaced it and problem solved.

Pulled codes many times. Never any codes. Checked rest pressure per tsrm and got 38psi. I redid all vac lines when I put in the new FPU vsv so those should be ok. Haven't checked the idle speed control valve yet. I'll do that next and come back with results. Thanks for the input Mryuk. I'll...

Control arms and sway bars are the same for both right? If the rack is different its not that big of deal. I can find a turbo one. Probably going to use old hubs. Not sure what else I need to worry about. Guess I'll find out when I get it. lol

Are all the front subframe for the 86.5 to 92 non-turbo and turbo the same. I need a front subframe and rack for my 88 turbo and I found an 87 non turbo for $150. Just wanted to know if it will bolt on before I go pick it up. Thanks.
