Before I got/while Supra is on jackstands, I alternate between:
Dirty engine bay pic without the intake and AC belt on:
And the bone stock/soon-to-be-7AGE-as-soon-as-I-get-off-my-ass Corolla:
For the bleeder screw, go on rockauto and look for a front caliper, 9 times out of ten a company will list the thread size of bleeder screw and bolt thread specs. Once you get there, you can pay a bit extra for some Speedbleeder bleeding screws to make your life easy in the future.
As for brake...
If I were you, I'd revise each system completely (brakes, suspension, cooling, drivetrain...) to see what needs to replaced or repairs before upgrades. You know about your calipers already so try to prevent a future breakdown
The TB comes with a TPS calibrated for a Mustang. I don't know what kind of Ohm readings the TB gives out. Unless you adapt the 7M TPS to the TB, your readings might be off. You can also use a plate to make a flange for the factory TB so you can plug everything back up.
1900 so far for car, 2JZGE, R154, dash, round mount subframe, 3.91 LSD diff :icon_bigg
Everything is in a storage and the car is parked somewhere :3d_frown:
That's changing though since I'm currently working on 7MGE to 2JZGE wiring as I'm typing this :naughty:
Here's my input:
-The Stang is N/A meaning you'll get an actual reading of throttle position, not 0% or 100%
-No coolant lines going to the TB to warm your air up
-You'll get to keep to some torque since you'll only upping the diameter 5mm, not 20mm
-If you're going stand alone, you'll have...
Also, using a single disc rated that high will have your left leg bulging with muscles in no time.
I say look into objective reviews on triple plate setups from OS Giken, HKS, RPS, Exedy... and go from there.
Here's what I'd try:
- Loosen the DP and wiggle it enough it enough to see the turbine.
- Loosen the turbo from the manifold.
If the the turbine inlet is wet, the oil is coming from the engine.
If the turbine inlet is dry and the outlet is wet, you got shafted on that rebuild.
Thing is with the Rustang, there is enough aftermarket support to transform the car into a drift, drag, grip and cruising maching with just bolt-ons so you can switch it up whenever you get bored.
As mentioned in the thread, quality control within the Rustang line-up is not that awesome...
Try to take a vid if you can of the section travelled so you can take it to court with you. As mentioned earlier, a grade A dickhead will bend you over with a grin, encountered a few of those already.
Being honest will only work if, let's say, you were doing 90 in a 70, and the cop was...
Seems like they would be a direct replacement. I'll give them a call after the holidays as those would be very nice.
Also, I'm pretty sure retroffiting would be at least as expensive since you have to get a quality kit for at least 300 + quality clear headlights, unless you get lucky at the...
Bringing back the dead since I'm interested in a 3.58 too.
Talked to a gentleman a few mins ago and he did confirm that the 3.58 set is no longer available but they are working on something. It's not guaranteed but he asked me to check back with him around mid Jan 2013. I also asked about...
Thanks guys
I'm not too picky about the models; as long as it is manual with a hardtop, I'm good. The 86.5 i'm looking at is manual and hardtop with TEMS and headlamp washers (will double-check) so I'm good.
Whether the car is turbo or not will not matter since I'm looking for a shell, a blank...
Hey guys,
I currently own a 95 Tercel (currently under the knife) and a 93 Corolla. I've always wanted to own a MKIII for the longest time; guess it has something to do with the body lines and the pop-up headlights. I've been ghosting the board for a hwile, doing my homework.
I'm...
