    7MGE air intake help

Ryan, I took some measurements of the couplers, and this is what I did. The bracket keeps the AFM in the stock location. AFM-reducer, 82.55 mm ID to 76.2 mm ID, (3.25" x 3.0"). Pipe, 15 deg. bend-76.2 mm OD, (3.0"). This piece has a special reducer welded on to the throttle body end to 69.85...

Ryan, Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I did, all of the machined brackets were a one off project, it keeps me occupied.

    7MGE air intake help

These are a few pictures of my intake piping. There is a step down coupler at the AFM. The tube is an aluminum 15 deg. bend, 2 3/4" od., I forgot the name of the vendor, try Google, (mandrel bent tube). The last coupler is a 45 deg. I kept the stock air box, as stated above there is no gain...

    N/A-Naturally Awesome

Nice build. I have a 7M N/A too. I just kept the build clean, with unique parts I made up. Turbo is the only way to go for power, but it's all about driving a Supra. Basicly a stock rebuild, pocket ported head, 2.5" cat back exhaust. On the dyno in Las Vegas, 96 deg. F, I made a mere, 153...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

This is the setup I have. I could have gone with 245, and 275, but I kept it conservative. The same for lowering, I could go lower, but I can barely get out of my driveway now. Tein Flex Work, VS-XX. Front, 18 x 8.5/R18, +40, R disk, big brake disk, tire 235/40 Rear, 18 x 9.5/R18, +39, O...

    Craigh310 1988 N/A

Cylinder head pictures. Tom, at Port Flow Design did the work. I had a street port job done, pocket porting, and light runner porting. Also had a broken exhaust stud, replaced all stud threads with Time Serts, and custom stainless exhaust studs. The fireface picture really shows the smallest...

    Craigh310 1988 N/A

Thanks, it has been a long work in progress, 2 1/2 + years. The worst part about polishing manifolds, is once you start, you have to finish them. I get to put in a couple hours a day into this project, after my regular job. The bad part is, all of the major work has to happen on weekends...

    Craigh310 1988 N/A

Moving on to the intake manifolds. At first I was planning on powdercoating the manifolds, then decided against this due to the masking issues. The exhaust manifold came out great, so I decided on ceramic coating. It took a few weeks to polish all of the surfaces, but it was worth the effort.

First of all, I would like to thank all of the members of Supramania who have helped me out with parts and advise. This project started out with a coolant change and new belts and hoses. My Supra was in storage for 6 years, only to go out every two years for CA smog. From my intro, a few...
