First of all, I would like to thank all of the members of Supramania who have helped me out with parts and advise. This project started out with a coolant change and new belts and hoses. My Supra was in storage for 6 years, only to go out every two years for CA smog. From my intro, a few years ago, I got this response, (it's just not an import, it's a Supra). I finally decided to start work on this project. These are a few pictures of when I first started.

Time to update this build. Cleaning the transmission, new seals, and bushings. Shaftmasters one piece aluminum drive shaft.

Moving on to the intake manifolds. At first I was planning on powdercoating the manifolds, then decided against this due to the masking issues. The exhaust manifold came out great, so I decided on ceramic coating. It took a few weeks to polish all of the surfaces, but it was worth the effort.

sheesh how do you do all of this work?!? it turns out real nice man good luck on the build, i really look forward to seeing all of this completed, BTW that transmission looks new after the new bushings and stuff have been cleaned up!

Thanks, it has been a long work in progress, 2 1/2 + years. The worst part about polishing manifolds, is once you start, you have to finish them.

I get to put in a couple hours a day into this project, after my regular job. The bad part is, all of the major work has to happen on weekends, but my wife has been very understanding. Cut back on a few fishing trips, but we still make time to travel around the country for NHRA events, only as specators.

hey if you still have the transmission out do you mind taking a few shots of the clutch fork and its resting position on the input shaft bearing retainer plate? I just wanted to compare the difference between your setup and mine because i have a issue with mine, thanks

Cam covers, before and after. Powdercoated. Baffles removed for sand blasting.

Moving on to the throttle body, and bracket. Before and after pictures. I had all of the original hardware cad plated. The AN fitting is for a PCV filter/catch tank.

Engine build. Aaron, at Driftmotion, had the machining done for me, cylinder bores bored and honed with torque plate. Eagle rods, Clevite77 bearing, NPR pistons, assembly balanced.

Cylinder head pictures. Tom, at Port Flow Design did the work. I had a street port job done, pocket porting, and light runner porting. Also had a broken exhaust stud, replaced all stud threads with Time Serts, and custom stainless exhaust studs. The fireface picture really shows the smallest piece of lint, I know that it is not a gouge. Also had some corrosion issues, bad coolant, I hope the Toyota Red will eliminate that. The head checked out ok, for cracks, and hardness.
