you guys think mk3's will ever go up in value?

clean mk3s are hard to come by. I kick my self every time for screwing up what was one of the cleanest mk3s I had seen. I had bought a 92 turbo black on black , mint condition, 54,000 original miles. I was in $11,000 for the car, lost job, blew up motor and then lost the car. That was in 2000...

Disturbed1, I am having the same issue as you. I also backed the screw all the way out and had to add back % with afc but with setting like that I hit fuel cut at like 14.6psi. Do you hit fuel cut with screw backed all the way out?

    Fuel cut

OK I have been runing between 15-16psi on a sp58gt HO but wanted to turn it up some. Tried for 17psi, did not hit fuel cut but afr's was to rich, had taken out up to -18% air flow signal with afc and was still rich in upper rpms. At this point I didnt want to take out any more signal with...

GTEpower.com/GTE powered engines with 500+ RWHP site coming soon/sort of...

I think 450 is a good number. requires a little work and wouldnt be so easy for the average bpu MKIV and upgraded ct26 MKIII. I think there is a lot less cars with 450 than with 400rwhp. Impressive power but not to dam hard to get, 450 is good starting point for the site.

    Mk3 Vs C6

lol, yea a standard C6 is no match for your car (543rwhp). I bet you would give a Z06 a hell of a run ,if not out run one

    Mk3 Vs C6

oh no, im not suprised, not after doing nearly the same myself. Just wondering if 17psi is when you make your 342rwhp? I dont know what im making, thats why I asked because my ebc showed 15.7 to be the peak boost during that run.

    more tuning stuff

Today I wanted to lean my car out some, runing rich at 4 thousand rpm and above. I have 12% on afc taken out at those rpms but still below 11.0-1 afrs. The thing is I dont want to keep taking fuel out with afc because of the effect it has on timing. When I lower fuel pressure my vf readings...

    Mk3 Vs C6

what do the c6 make at the wheels stock, I thought it was in the 340-350rwhp range? wingman, do you make your 342hp @17psi and is your turbo internal gated or the HO external gated version? would have been nice to beat that vette but I dont need to be running any more boost than that till...

    Mk3 Vs C6

No kill but the old mk3 made me proud today. Was parked on shoulder of on ramp to interstate making a call on my cell this morning. As soon as im off the the phone , I see a red c6 vette speed by getting on the interstate. Im like what the hell and take off after it for some fun. When I...

    Tuning issue

O.k I have had my fp set at 33psi, vacume connected. AFR's at idle 14.7-15.3 and at wot, low 11s. Today I checked my vf's, at idle it was 3.53vf with 14.7-15.3afr. I have attempted to adjust this by adding fuel with FPR. No change in vf's when I go up to 35psi on FPR. The vf's do go down to...

    timing

yea I went ahead and replaced it, everything runs much better now. The old one still worked , just out of adjustment and probably sticks at times. After adjusting the new tps I can now properly adjust my timing. Acceleration is much smoother now and air fuel ratios are much better in closed...

    timing

so your saying that its o.k if the 51 flashes when I press gas pedal only? I have read some post on here that say you have it set if it does that, which is which? I have the new tps now and it does the same thing, set it up and still flashes 51 when I press gas p, light flashes normal when I...

    timing

to all that said the tps is a pain in the ass, your right , I hate it. Been trying to adjust this thing with no luck so far. This is how I went about it. 1. Adjusted lever screw so that there was 0.00mm between lever and stop screw. 2. I placed .70 mm gauge in place and adjusted for...

o.k I have been taking my measurements at the wrong spot. in the pic above I see more clearly where to do it at. will give the adjustment a try and see what pops up.

    timing

linkage seems to be o.k, there is a little play in throttle cable like it should be. is the throtle screw that I should put a thickness gauge between, on top or bottom of left side of throttle body? I have been looking at the bottom one until just now and realised there is one right behind...
