Just started looking into doing a 1u-fe swap. Seems like it would be a fun swap and not very many people have done it. Also cheap, complete motor with harness ecu for $600 to $800. Then maybe twin turbos or supercharger.:icon_bigg any body done this swap? Only know of 1 person that's done it in...
Here's pics with motor coming out. Thinking the tranny to while i have everything out and rebuild it just cuz it makes a small amount of bearing noise.. Have to paint the engine bay to since i'm working towards painting the car all black with suddle lime green accents such as, Toyota emblem on...
Not to interested in lowering compression with head gasket. Got a HKS 1.2MM for it already. The only point for this idea is to build a stronger pull through the power band especially when not on boost yet. I'v seen several cars (non supras) that have done this and run very strong just takes more...
Maybe if I have suspension work done on the Great White I'll go. If you buy the parts to fix yours I'll help get it goin.

The motor is currently a ge but buy the time im done (if i do it) be just the same as gte just with N/A compression. I'm hoping the ecu will be ok with detonation on 93 oct at 8psi, if im lucky run more.
Been contemplating building a 7m with N/A compression maybe a little more say 9.5:1 at the most on about 12psi someday more with stand alone and good internals. Biggest question is if a 7mgte ECU can handle it or will the raised compression be to much for it to deal with safely or just wait to...
What's up. I'm Pyrites little brother. I do about 95% of the work on his car, so if he says he worked on his car that just means I worked on it. Sry bro haha. Other then that just got an 87 supra N/A with a bad head but just got a head off a cressida and in proces of rebuildin her. So nothin...
