Update, i got an email from Aaron at Driftmotion, It appears i was just sent the wrong bearing, this on was for the serpentine tensioner. I just thought i had something odd. Driftmotion is legit, great customer service. seems this was just a mixup.

Anyone else ever run into this? i read that they were all the same, 7m, 2j, 1j.. ordered mine from drift motion, and it is way wrong. The outer diameter is wrong and so is the inner.. I need to replace this bearing while the engine is out.. any info or help would be greatly appreciated..

why did you decide to go with the 2j bottom end? other than the stroke? was there anything wrong with the 1j bottom end?

the plugs i pulled out of my car were almost 40 on gap! car ran fine on the stock twins, but i had a slight stutter through the RPM range when i swapped to the holset. i put new plugs in and gaped them at .028 and havent had an issue since..

had to get a new battery, and build a dump tube.. spent the day cleaning up the intake pipe for the turbo, and welded a nipple to connect the valve cover hose back.. I used a 120 grit sanding disc on the angle grinder, then cleared the piss out of it.. love the way it turned out...
