Not to be a complete ass but you knew you were blowing 30amp fuses so you jump it? You asked for this problem. Replace or have driftmotions repair your ecu. You could have damaged more, but start with the ecu.
Condensation will form water in your exhaust over night but you will burn it off a few minutes after the car is warmed up. If you think you have a bhg do a compression check, you can get the guages for $20 from autozone and do it in half an hour.
I finally got all the quirks figured out on my car. Im itching for a cruise or meet. I was trying to make it to the dec 1st cruise but had a good size oil leak i had to fix.
Yea trying to fix it but for some reason my tps is not cooperating with me. I was able to get my hands on a brand new afm for really cheap so im going to put it back in and see if my stalling goes away. But i have a bigger turbo with stock injectors, wont i just hit fuel cut quicker that way?
There could be something wrong with the settings, but i have all the knobs at 12 o clock position. What my question was could a code 51 or misadjusted tps sensors cause my problem or not.
Ok i tested my map sensors and they are receiving and sending signal but no change when i unplug them with the car running? Weird. Maybe its a fuel pressure issue? But when i drove it around the block today it seemed perfectly fine, until idle or sudden opening of the throttle... anybody?
Car has hks fcon and vpc plus more but those should be the two to worry about. I have checked and verified all the vacuum lines are correctly routed and i have no leaks. I am in the process of fixing a code 51 but am wondering will that cause the car to idle rough and almost stall when first...
Oh, i guess i didnt explain it well enough. I had a 1 inch diameter hole in the intake plenum, its after the throttle body. So it just sucked in all the air it wanted from there.
I cant take off the tuner because its running a vpc. No more maf and i dont have one to install. It was tuned before, just had a bhg. Im installing a wideband so i can watch my a/f. I agree with you but i dont have much choice unless i can get my hands on a maf.
I get your point on returning it to stock but i am missing a few pieces to do that, and for the few seconds it did run it sounded amazing. Timing was spot on.
So my first startup didnt go as planned. A friend and i decided to see if my alphabet of hks electronics were working so we attempted to run the motor a bit early. I primed the oil system and turned the key, just cranking. Tested for spark and it was there so i tested fuel pressure and got...
Yea i should look into that. PO stated that it went out on him and he wired up a pressure switch in the door. I tried numerous combinations but still nothing.
Battery is good, a little low but plenty to atleast engage the starter. Not sure what the TT is... im going to go through all the fuses and wires today but i did a quick check not too long ago and all fuses were fine. Theres a wire that comes out of the drivers fuse box in the car that is run to...
Ok so i just spent a crap load of money rebuilding the motor and getting everything put back together. What my situation is everything works until i turn the key to start. Then nothing. And i mean nothing, starter doesnt click or anything but the turbo timer does engage... normally i could...
The isc valve on the intake manifold apparently has coolant lines run to it probably to adjust the amount of air at idle depending on engine temp? Anyways i can see kinda how its hooked up through the tsrm but if anybody cant paint me a better picture i would be grateful.
Put all the little things on the engine and mounted up the turbo. Going in the car tomorrow, hopefully i will have a chance to turn the key and see what happens.
