That cant be good. If someone is willing to shove a spark plug in any hose i wouldnt buy a car from them IMO. If you do buy it i would look it over with detail and fix all the rig ups on it.
It is if you can shut it off at the right time and it stays upside down. If you try pouring while the motor is spinning you will have a tie dyed shirt with all of them oil stains.
You might want to check to see if you put your motor mounts on because if not the motor will spin upside down and go in circles instead of the tranny moving. I have seen this with many people installing trannys. Make sure you keep your hands out of the engine bay while the motor is spining...
You need more fluid. It takes around 12 quarts or until the tranny fluid is all the way to the top of the dipstick tube. Without the fluid you wont go anywhere. Hope this will help out.
Oh yea i almost forgot make sure it 90w gear oil.
